Last year I had the great experience of serving as The Rocket’s News Editor, a position I’m very thankful to continue this year. While initially I had concerns about struggling with the job (and struggle I did) I think it’s okay to say that the year went well overall. This year is bound to have its own highs and lows, but thankfully this year’s staff has many different talented people and I know together we’ll be able to make our special print editions and our website the best it can be, and improve on it weekly. Covering the news around SRU has given me a lot of experiences, and I look forward to learning more about the people and places and sharing it with readers of The Rocket for the 2017-18 school year.
