Start out freshman year right with #SRUStandOut Freshman Twitter Contest. Students who post about what makes them stand out from everyone else will be entered for the chance to be featured in the first issue of The Rocket.

3. Use @SRURocket in your post saying what makes you stand out from everyone else.
That’s it. You’re now entered into the #SRUStandOut Freshman Twitter contest. Get creative. We want to know more than that you’re majoring in computer science or have a pet cat named Snowball.
Eligibility
The #SRUStandOut Freshman Twitter Contest call for entry period begins Monday August 11 and ends Friday August 22 at midnight. Tweets must be posted to Twitter during the contest entry period. This contest is open to all freshmen students of Slippery Rock University.
By entering the contest, participants’ entries become the property of The Rocket and may be used for in publication.
