In high school I discovered my love for photography. After, a long wait until junior year; I was finally eligible to take the Photo One course. There I learned basic skills of the camera and how to apply aesthetic appeal which jumpstarted me into AP Photography. Eventually I developed my own style and the ability to create new pieces I never could have imagined myself taking a year ago. Leaving that class was an awful feeling because it was reassurance that I was going to continue my work and have it seen by others. I couldn’t believe how soon I found a way to peruse my interest right on campus. I am so grateful to have gotten this opportunity to work on The Rocket as the Assistant Photo Editor. Working every week will only improve my photography skills and I am excited to continue to learn each day.
