“Netflix and Chill” used to mean literally watching something on Netflix while you chill with friends or a significant other. Today, it has a whole different meaning. The phrase focuses more on the “chill” than the Netflix aspect. I’m bringing it back to the original meaning and giving you a list of films to actually enjoy watching with people.

Each month brings a new wave of content to Netflix. Here are some of the movies and TV shows to look forward to this February.

Scooby Doo (2002)

Our generation grew up watching the cartoon, and probably saw this film (and its sequel) back in the day of its release. The film is straight up outrageous, but when is it not with the Mystery, Inc. gang? Two years after an incident where Daphne was captured by Lunar Ghost, the gang is reunited, thanks to Scooby and Shaggy’s efforts. They solve the mystery of how and why guests on the island are being cursed. Of course, it was Scrappy Doo. Fred finally gives Velma the credit she deserves for solving the crime. It’s about time, Fred. We have always known Velma was the brains.

Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby (2006)

Will Ferrell. I should just stop there because we all know the type of film if he’s in it: hilarious, yet probably offensive. Ricky Bobby is at the top in the NASCAR world and will do anything to keep his title. But then comes around Jean Girard and his French ways and tries to knock Bobby off his podium. Bobby’s real talent is put to the test. If you need to take a break from schoolwork for a good laugh, here’s your movie.

Dope (2015)

The film was released at Sundance and became an instant hit with critics. Malcolm, Jib and Diggy make up an amateur punk-rock band and reside in a neighborhood called, “The Bottoms.” Malcolm’s dream is to attend Harvard. He meets a drug dealer named Dom and the three friends are convinced to go to a party where everything goes wrong. The adventure begins when Malcolm finds the drug “Molly,” a gun and an iPhone in his backpack, which was all placed there by Dom. He and his two friends have to stop the rival gang from getting the items. It’s then bestowed upon Malcolm to sell the drugs himself if he wants to get into Harvard.

Mad Men: Season 7, Part 2 (2015)

Fans of the show were sad to hear that the series would be coming to an end after the seventh season. Now, the final part of the drama is being released to the Netflix world. What happened to Peggy’s baby? Have we seen the last of Ginsberg? Will we see Rachel Menken one more time? What’s Paul Kinsey’s new career? Are Betty and Don going to hook up again? What is Joan’s ultimate fate? And finally, who jumps out the window (opening credits)? Don Draper?!
