Police blotter 4/26/24

April 19 – University Police received a call for a noise complaint in Watson Hall. Upon arrival, individuals were drinking alcohol and citations were issued for underage consumption.

April 19 – University Police issued a traffic citation for speeding in East Lake Parking Lot.

April 19 – University Police issued an additional traffic citation for speeding in East Lake Parking Lot.

April 19 – A traffic stop on Morrow Way resulted in an arrest for drug possession and paraphernalia.

April 20 – Slippery Rock Borough Police Department (SRPD) requested assistance at Sheetz for multiple people under the influence of alcohol.

April 20 – University Police were dispatched for a medical incident in the Aebersold Recreation Center. University Police dispatched an ambulance and was transported to a hospital.

April 21 – University Police received an emergency phone activation near Suite F. Upon arrival, an individual was laying on the ground. A friend of the individual said they were drinking and needed help. An ambulance arrived and transported the person to the hospital.

April 22 – University Police received a call of suspicious activity where items were supposedly moved around in Maltby Center on the second floor. University Police identified two individuals and spoke with one of them who stated they were shooting a music video. No further action was taken.

April 22 – University Police received a call from an individual stating they discovered damage to their vehicle in East Lake Parking Lot, next to the baseball field. An officer arrived and determined the vehicle may have been damaged by a baseball.

April 23 – University Police received a call from an individual stating they received an email from a person who made it seem like they might harm themselves. Upon further investigation, the officer determined the individual did not want to harm themselves and the individual was referred to the Counseling Center.

April 23 – University Police received a call from an individual stating their vehicle was damaged on the driver’s side while parked in the field house side of the Physical Therapy Lot. The case is currently under investigation.

April 24 – University Police were alerted by an individual who reported the loss of their AirPods. The AirPods were pinging on multiple locations on campus. The responding officer successfully located the Air Pods outside the Carruth Rizza Hall.

April 24 – SRPD called into dispatch requesting contact information on an individual who lost their wallet. The information was passed on.
